- About 11,000 MG patients and 3000 GBS patients have been diagnosed and treated throughout Pakistan with the cooperation of Myasthenic Treatment & Rehabilitation Center of PMWO and PIMS.
- More than 12,000 EMG tests have been conducted by PMWO for the screening and diagnosis of patients suffering from different Neuromuscular Disorders.

- Due to the tremendous work of the Secretary General of PMWO (Khalid Mehmood Zia) in the field of diagnosis and treatment of Myasthenia Gravis, The Commonwealth has awarded "The Commonwealth Youth Asia Award for Excellence in Youth Work and Development 1998 " to Mr. Zia.
- PMWO is affiliated with Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America for research and sharing in publications on Myasthenia Gravis.
- PMWO is affiliated with Neurosciences Department of University of Oxford for collaborative research study program on congenital Myasthenia Gravis.
